12–28–2023 — Tomb|Lif3 Tuesday: Update 107
Happy Lif3 Saturday,
In less than a week, the calendars will read 2024. It has been a fantastic year already, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for another celebration before we roll out the red carpet for 2024. Happy Holidays to all. The next update will most likely be next year. The Lif3 Team has been working nonstop for months to finalize the details of our new LayerZero-powered future, and we are nearing the finish line. Read below for a very special Christmas gift.
Christmas isn’t the only holiday we celebrate around here. On Halloween, Lif3 entered the AfterLif3. Lif3 was fully represented at the biggest and best Halloween party of 2023. Since then, our protocol has been and will continue to be represented at upcoming events as the EnjoyLif3 team continues to work on the branding side for the Lif3 Ecosystem. Lif3 has made appearances at Sigma, F1, and Meet the Drapers, to name a few. Our support for Pierre Gasly and the Alpine Formula 1 Team charges on as the 2023 Season ends.
The Lif3 team continues to boost the marketing efforts both internally and externally. Some of these changes will be reflected in how we post certain content and announce future updates to the protocol on both Discord and Medium. We recognize the balance between the frequency of updates and the substance of those updates. Our team is up to the challenge, and you will see some changes soon.
The team continues its work on the LayerZero integration/migration, UI/UX updates, Lif3 Wallet improvements, L3 Reserve, and Lif3 Chain. A lot is happening all at once, but know that everything we do is a decision made today for a bigger, better, and brighter future for everyone.
Bitcoin has been moving lately, reaching levels far exceeding the $32K area we needed to continue the year-long trend from ~$15,500. We recently saw a high of $45K, and the momentum has been strong since mid-October. Remember that the market loves to correct itself without warning, so please be cautious. The news has been a mixed bag and nothing short of a rollercoaster for the last few months. Bitcoin Spot ETF is all the buzz lately, and the BlackRock ETH ETF is joining the conversation, though the earliest we will get a decision will come in May 2024. Stay calm and stay patient. Fantom has released its testnet for Sonic, giving users and developers a taste of what’s to come sometime in the spring of next year. $LIF3, $LSHARE, and $FTM have all seen impressive moves over the last few months. These are exciting times in DeFi and Crypto as a whole.
The Summer of Building was filled with changes under the hood, UI/UX improvements, a reconcentration of priority aspects of our protocol, and lots of work finalizing integration and bridge solutions for the future of Lif3. Read below for some significant updates.

Lif3 Updates:
This summer was filled with changes and improvements for the entire Lif3 Ecosystem. It has been a long road after the Multichain incident, but the team has been working nonstop to prepare for Lif3 after MC. During the migration, the team took the opportunity to make several improvements, and we are in the Super-Short-Term window to release these changes.
- Switched from Uni v2 to Uni v3 on all chains (Tomb Chain coming soon)
- Firebird integration of Uni v3 on Ethereum
- Legacy Token Migration — Swap Legacy to New 1:1
But that’s not all…
Genesis of $LIF3 on Ethereum:
As mentioned, the new tokens powered by the technology of LayerZero will be launched on Ethereum. This opens the door to a multitude of opportunities and challenges. As with any token or protocol, the first challenge comes from liquidity. Deep liquidity is always the goal; traditionally speaking, Genesis is the way to reward users for their participation.

Coming in the Super-Short-Term — Genesis on Ethereum. The reward for single-stake tokens will be the new $LIF3 tokens. What better way to celebrate Christmas than to get rewarded some $LIF3 tokens while staking on Ethereum? Genesis will start with three eligible tokens:
- $ETH
- $WBTC
- $USDT
Next Steps:
After the rollout of these new changes, improvements, and updates, we have a few more items in the pipe that will be released shortly after. The Firebird integration on Fantom, Polygon, and BNB Chain is a priority on the list. Stargate has activated the bridge, a significant addition to the Lif3 family, and opened the door for us to roll out the Migration Token Swapper. All these updates and more will be coming soon and will help propel Lif3 into the new year.
The Fountains are Printing:
Q4 2023 has proven to be very kind to the Fountains on both Fantom and Tomb Chain. We had 30 prints in November between both Fountains, with some of the prints coming back to back on Tomb Chain. December had a few prints before we needed to start the migration phase. When the Fountains print, we add available $LIF3 to the ecosystem. This, in turn, means there is demand for the token, which is always good. $LIF3 and $LSHARE have both seen incredible interest since late September. Part of the migration process requires some downtime for the Fountains. Fear not. They will be back up and running on new contracts before you know it.
Lif3 Chain Public Testnet:
There is no shortage of exciting things happening in the Lif3 Ecosystem, and the launch of Lif3 Chain is at the top of the list. As mentioned a few weeks ago, Lif3 Chain will provide the transport layer for using $L3USD in the iGaming sector. iGaming alone will bring massive utility to Lif3 Chain. The Lif3 Chain Testnet is alive and well, and everything is moving in the right direction. The Testnet has now been made public, and you can start using it immediately. Lif3 Wallet Updates:
Beta testing for the newest Lif3 Wallet update continues. Like the previous updates, once the beta testing is complete and the changes have been made, the update will get pushed to both iOS and Android.

Lif3 Support is online and ready for users to explore. Lif3 Support is filled with easy-to-follow guides, articles, and videos that cover the Lif3 Ecosystem. Additional articles will be added as the Lif3 ecosystem grows and expands.

Tomb V2 on Fantom Sonic:
This has been in the works for a while now and we wanted to announce this properly. Anything else that claims to be Tomb has nothing to do with Tomb nor is endorsed by us. For the record, we are continuing to support Fantom and Tomb, and I can’t wait for Sonic to be ready so we can deploy Tomb V2. I have put a lot of thought into Tomb going forward and when the time comes I will share the plan with all of you.
