08–29–2023 — Tomb | Lif3 Tuesday: Update 103
My fellow Tomb Raiders, Happy Tomb | Lif3 Tuesday,
Earlier today, a US Court of Appeals Circuit Judge, Neomi Rao, ordered in favor of Grayscale over the SEC regarding their GBTC application to list a Bitcoin ETF. By no means does this guarantee the listing to get approved eventually, but it is a major victory for Grayscale and Bitcoin as a whole. Bitcoin saw a substantial $1000+ candle as soon as the news broke. This tells us a few things, but most importantly, people are paying attention to Crypto. The same can be said for Lif3. It may feel like no one is paying attention at times, but rest assured, people are watching what we are building and paying attention, even if you don’t think they are.
In other news, Pierre Gasly and his Lif3 adorned helmet finished 3rd recently in the Heineken Dutch Grand Prix. That race was his best finish all season and has helped to move him to 10th place for the Season. We wish him and Alpine the best as they prepare for Italy later in the week.
Work continues on all fronts back at the Lif3 Labs. New contracts for LayerZero tokens, testing of LayerZero powered tokens, final testing of Lif3 Chain, etc. It’s a long process but will prove to be an integral part of Lif3 moving forward into the future.

Lif3 Swap Updates:
The new token list feature is still in the works, and all will be updated when it’s pushed to the main site. The token list feature will be an excellent upgrade for those who like to keep track of everything happening in the market and like things organized and easy to read. Lif3 has always been about making things easy and simple to use, and features like the token list coming to Lif3 Swap are just another brick in the wall.
Lif3 Wallet Updates:
Lif3 Wallet will be seeing derived wallets in the future. Derived wallets will be another feature for those who love organization and ease of use. One parent seed to unlock multiple children wallets, each with their own unique use case and purpose.
The Path Forward:
Testing continues for the new LayerZero-powered tokens in the Lif3 protocol. After successful integration, the new Token Swapper will launch, allowing Legacy tokens to convert to the new LayerZero-powered tokens. Part of this process is out of the teams’ hands, so we really appreciate your patience as we try to wrap this up. Part of the path forward includes the already established and growing Curve pool for L3USD on Polygon.
Lif3 Chain Coming Soon:
Lif3 Chain needed many updates due to the integration of LayerZero before launch. This required new code, new contracts, and testing. All tests have gone great so far, but more testing must be done. We are also in the process of initiating some final runs on testnet for building validator nodes as well as read-only nodes.
