08–08–2023 — Tomb | Lif3 Tuesday: Update 100
My fellow Tomb Raiders, Happy Tomb | Lif3 Tuesday,
Today marks Update Number 100. Every week, there has been an update since I took over the Tomb protocol in 2021. Although 100 is a special number, it means we are around four weeks from the two-year anniversary. Two years or ten years, there is no place I’d rather be.
Over the last few weeks, the team has been incredibly busy with the LayerZero integration, and that has taken the majority of all resources on hand. Being powered by LayerZero involves new contracts, new tokens, and new integrations. It also involves a lot of patience. Much like the rollout for Lif3 Wallet, only so many pieces to the puzzle are within our hands as we work back and forth with third parties to get the end results that we all desire. This type of integration requires patience in the beginning but will pave a smooth road of operation and a link to future upgrades once complete.
Bitcoin is at an interesting level at the moment. Towards the middle of last week, a critical level was tested as support and passed. That remains the local low as of this writing. This has been a multi-week pullback, similar to the previous local high/local low we watched back in April. There is still more room to go down and test further levels of support, but if today marks another turning point, we should be in for another local high, further continuing the Weekly uptrend that began last November.

Timelines:
- Super-Short-Term: Days, Weeks, < 1 Month
- Short-Term: 1 to 2 Months
- Mid-Term: 3 to 6 Months
- Long-Term: 6 Months +
The Path Forward:
New contracts, new tokens, new integrations, and more testing. We are doing all we can to provide a safe and easy path for all users to eventually swap from Legacy to new tokens using the power of LayerZero. Many steps are involved, some of which require the completion of one step in its entirety before starting the next. When all is said and done, we will have a much stronger position moving forward with everything we are developing.
Lif3 Chain Coming Soon:
Lif3 Chain is undergoing some final testing with the new LayerZero integrations. As mentioned in previous announcements, a majority of resources are allocated to restoring the Lif3 protocol by implementing LayerZero and as windows of opportunities present themselves as we wait on third parties, we can shuffle teams around for continued work on Lif3 Chain. There is never a dull moment.
