Happy Lif3 Thursday,
Let’s say 2024 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year. The team has been incredibly busy on all aspects of Lif3: branding, partnerships, contracts, fountains, migrations, Lif3 Chain Testnet, etc. All these things take time, dedication, resources, and, most importantly, a good plan of attack. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to optimize the outflow of production from Alpha through deployment. We’ve made some recent improvements to target any areas that need attention.
I want to give a brief shoutout to all of you in the community for hanging in there while we work to restore the protocol after moving to Ethereum. We were already busy developing things like Lif3 Chain well before the Multichain incident that derailed many projects in the queue. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and soon enough, our ecosystem will be running like a well-oiled machine firing on all cylinders. Many thanks for your support, understanding, and, most importantly, your patience.
Bitcoin is all the buzz at the moment, with record-breaking volume on all the new spot ETFs available now. We saw the break of $70K and the rise and fall from $64K. We saw a new ATH and then a small correction shortly after. We have now seen five new ATHs on the Daily resolution, and there’s a good chance we are only just getting started. Volatility, volume, and overall interest are increasing every day.

Timelines:
- Super-Short-Term: Days, Weeks, < 1 Month

Background Operations:
The magnitude of the overall migration cannot be understated. Each day is a lesson in patience and in trusting the process. We have made substantial improvements in the background, but not everyone gets to see these things or at least feel them the way the development team does. Much effort has been focused on liquidity, especially for the LayerZero LIF3 tokens. We changed a few things regarding the market makers and liquidity, and we now have more trading on Bitfinex. More volume, more trades, deeper liquidity, etc. It’s part of a much larger plan for a happy, healthy, long-term growth protocol.
Adoption of 1inch:
With the shift from Fantom to Ethereum, the team adopted the 1inch platform to utilize the most efficient aggregator across Ethereum. Fantom, Polygon, and BNB Chain can still be utilized, but we seek better solutions. (More on that below). With the recent sunsetting of Firebird Finance, the decision to go with 1inch seems even more validated than ever. With tremendous work from both parties, we pushed the latest integration to Lif3.com and the Lif3 Wallet.
While in the development process, the team released Alpha.Lif3.com so users can access the Swap function through the MARKET tab. These “Alpha” releases will be tested internally, sent to the community, and pushed to the main site moving forward. This will be a new way of doing things to help streamline the process and avoid delays with the community. The website has been updated, and the alpha version from a few days ago has been integrated into Lif3.com. Market Swap is now available for $LIF3, and 1inch integration is complete on Ethereum.
Aggregation Beyond Firebird:
As mentioned above, we seek better solutions for chains like Fantom, Polygon, and BNB Chain. 1inch excels on Ethereum, but we need a replacement for Firebird. We have found a replacement in Odos.xyz. Using their Optimal Routing Solution, we now have full V3 Liquidity Pools and legacy Tombswap integrated through Odos. To take this one step further, Li.Fi has added Odos aggregation, meaning we will soon have seamless access to Odos routing through our integration with Li.Fi on Lif3.com and our Lif3 Wallet.
Odos currently services nine chains, over 700 liquidity sources, and thousands of token pairs. They take pride in searching thousands of pools to find users the best rates for their swaps. Odos smart contracts are audited by Zellic, adding a layer of security across the board. Try out their Atomic Multi-Token Swaps when you’re looking to diversify or consolidate.
New Integration — Fireblocks:
Safety and Security are paramount in the Lif3 Ecosystem. Not every new partnership or collaboration will have the in-the-face impact all users are looking for, but these building blocks ensure the safest user experience in all of DeFi. We strive to keep our users safe on Lif3.com or while using the Lif3 Wallet.
This Fireblocks integration will use Fireblocks’ non-custodial WaaS and their Fireblocks Network. On the backend, we are enhancing every piece of the Lif3 Ecosystem with state-of-the-art security to ensure safety for all users.
Security Partnerships:
Lif3 and BitGo have joined forces in a strategic partnership that will increase confidence in the secure storage and transaction capabilities within the Lif3 ecosystem. $LIF3, $LSHARE, and $L3USD will use BitGo’s cutting-edge cold storage technology, bringing an unparalleled layer of security to the Lif3 Ecosystem. iGaming Partnerships:
At SiGMA EURASIA in Dubai, Lif3 recently announced a partnership with SoftConstruct, the minds behind Fast Token, $FTN. This partnership underpins the importance of collaboration and innovation across a multitude of sectors for the shared benefits of users, developers, and businesses alike. Soon, we will see $LIF3 and $L3USD deployed on the FTN Network and incorporated in the Fastex Ecosystem.
Migration Guidance:
We continue to monitor and refill contracts to the token swap converter in a controlled and methodical way. We understand the excitement of converting OLD to NEW, and we will be just as happy as all of you once the migration process is 100% complete. This is uncharted territory for the team, and we want to ensure a smooth process in a timely fashion for all users. Many are asking why we refill in batches, and the most straightforward answer is there are bad actors in the space, and there is a need to shift thinking in a post-Multichain incident world.
The Convert page on Lif3.com is where you need to go to convert your OLD tokens to NEW tokens. The team has created a walkthrough video to help guide you through the process. By the end of the video, you should have all the information you need to convert on Fantom, Polygon, and BNB Chain.

Fountain News:
As mentioned in previous announcements, the current Fountains are disabled while we prepare for the new Fountains to take their place. The team is currently working on a brand-new Fountain for Polygon. We are in the testing phase and look to release this in the Super-Short to Short-Term timeframes. Decisions are being made for other chains, but the Fountain on Tombswap would be the most likely contender after Polygon.
Lif3 Wallet:
The newest version of Lif3 Wallet is out for iOS and will be available shortly for Android users. This update dramatically boosts performance, creating an unrivaled user experience like nothing before. Other updates include:
